Courtney at 11 days old - May 21st, 2006

June 9, 2006 - It was one month ago today that Courtney Ann Williams arrived here in this world.  She was born May 9, at 1:41 AM, after an earlier evening Dr.'s Appointment and the Dr said "Let's do it tonight, your ready."  A good thing, cause after an "uncomfortable" past 3-4 months, Rachel was more than ready!!  (Courtney was originally due on May 24th)  We called Aunt Julie to keep an eye on Evan for a couple days, packed a few bags and off to the hospital for a 9PM check-in.  Nature ran its course and Rachel's water broke at 11:40 and Courtney arrive 2 hours later.  Not bad!  She's a beautiful girl with a thick mound of black hair, nice olive complexion and, just like her brother and Mom, pretty blue eyes.  It appears the only thing Dad contributed to gene pool was these pesky 'clubbed' feet that have showed up in the Lynn family going back a few generations.  "Clubbed' feet is a correctable defect, and Courtney will wear casts on her feet for the first 12 weeks of her life, and special boots for up to age 3.  Longer term, Rachel and don't anticipate this as any more than a minor bump in the road.  We are very fortunate to have a beautiful little girl to go along with our beautiful boy.   MORE PHOTOS
